THE LOUVRE MUSEUM RECOGNISES DS AUTOMOBILES AS A MAJOR PATRON
The “DS Automobiles” name is now set in stone beneath the prestigious Louvre Pyramid.
Since its creation, DS Automobiles has increased launches in and around the Louvre Museum, under the Pyramid or in the Tuileries Gardens. Exclusive presentations and incredible exhibitions echoed a common philosophy, by combining heritage and modernity to build the future.
Committed to promoting culture, DS Automobiles has been a patron to the Louvre Museum and numerous temporary exhibitions since 2015.
Occupying a prominent position in the brand’s world, the Louvre Museum and its Pyramid have always inspired DS Automobiles.
The Brand also committed to the museum in celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the Pyramid with thirty special events in 2019 and 2020.
In 2020 and 2021, the partnership took on a new form demonstrated by the DS 7 CROSSBACK LOUVRE and DS 3 CROSSBACK LOUVRE limited editions, which took art on the most comfortable of journeys. In addition to their exclusive details clearly inspired by the Louvre’s pyramid designs, these two models made it possible to view 182 works on the cockpit’s large central screens while listening to the same number of podcasts for an exclusive and immersive in-car art experience.
Over the years, the DS Automobiles ONLY YOU PRIVILEGE programme has made it possible to learn about the collections, being behind the scenes at the museum and restoration workshops in unique circumstances.
For this passionate and enduring commitment, DS Automobiles was recognised by the Louvre as a Major Patron. At the end of 2023, the name “DS Automobiles” was engraved in the Napoleon Hall, beneath the Pyramid.
“Symbol of elegance, savoir-faire, and innovation, the Louvre Museum embodies the best of what France has to offer. The cultural, artistic, and architectural wealth of this iconic place serves as both a constant source of inspiration and a true illumination of France’s radiance throughout the world.
Through its ambition to embody French luxury savoir-faire in the automotive universe, the DS brand resonates perfectly with the Louvre Museum. Being included in the list of Major Patrons is a source of pride for the men and women of DS Automobiles, who cultivate a daily quest for excellence.”
