N°4 stands out as a contemporary icon, thanks to its cutting-edge technologies. Available in a Hybrid and Electric range of over 450 km in the combined WLTP (i) The stated fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and indicated range are in line with the WLTP test procedure, on the basis of which new vehicles have been approved since 1st September 2018. Named DS N°4, offering a seamless blend of performance and innovation. Its modern and bold style embodies the Art of Travel according to DS Automobiles, promising an exceptional driving experience, while guaranteeing the highest level of comfort in its category.

A new generation of powertrain

The technology on board the 100% electric version of N°4 gives it unrivalled performance without compromising its bold and elegant design, thanks to the latest generation of equipment. In DS N°4 E-TENSE, a 158 kW motor (213 hp) paired with a high-density battery and integrated heat-pump ensures lasting range, smart thermal management, and seamless urban agility.

Thanks to its new specific chemistry and 18 modules, the new battery offers high energy density, which means it can store more energy in a smaller space. This preserves habitability and a trunk that is one of the most voluminous in its segment.

This enables it to achieve a range of 450 km in the WLTP combined cycle, with a recharge time of 20 to 80% in around 29 minutes.

N°4 is engaging and intriguing with its impressive proportions, charismatic appearance and muscular stance. Inside, augmented technology is perfectly integrated into the interior, for a very pure design that's high tech and ergonomic.

New-look front

N°4 features a new signature illuminated grille with an illuminated DS logo, inspired by DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE and DS E-TENSE Performance concept cars. It gives a penetrating and sophisticated look with its mesmerising DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps.

Imposing wheels

N°4 19” LIMA wheels on HYBRID version, standard on Pallas and Étoile, has been designed to improve aerodynamics and maximise range.

A charismatic look

The profile combines fluidity and sharp lines, while the flush door handles fit the sculpted surfaces of the body. The discreet trim in lacquered black gives an overall presence that is both dynamic and imposing.

AN Enhanced Rear

At the back, its new smoked chrome scale-effect lights perfectly match its elegant lines, giving a strong character. The rear wings are sculpted and muscular while a black lacquered trim subtly highlights the rear lights and spoiler. Adorned with the new DS Automobiles signature in polished stainless steel on the tailgate subtly adorns the rear of the vehicle.

In this version, the steering wheel is fitted with paddles to control gear changes. N°4 also has a Hands-Off Detection system and a heated steering wheel, both optional.

Fitted with a petrol engine combined with a self-charging electric motor, DS N°4 Hybrid provides unrestricted driving, with no infrastructure required, and saves CO2 (116 g/km of CO2) and fuel, with up to 15% lower consumption on average, and even 30% less in town compared with a petrol engine. DS MATRIX LED VISION

The DS MATRIX LED VISION projector headlamps are slim and modern-looking and give N°4 Matrix Beam and Dynamic Bending Light (lighting that sees round corners). The beam accurately senses your surroundings and adapts to it with five pre-set modes (town, country, motorway, bad weather and fog), so that you can use main beam headlamps in all conditions, without dazzling other road users.

ADML Proximity

N°4 automatically unlocks when you get to within 2 metres and the door handles, hidden until then, appear. You can then start your car easily with the Start/Stop button. When you leave the car, it's the same principle. The door handles retract and the car locks automatically.

DS AIR

Fully built into the dashboard, DS AIR invisible airvent is a unique ventilation system that’s both subtle and efficient. With its compact design, it gives flow and purity to the dashboard design.

Rear Traffic Detection Pack

For extra reassurance, this system detects vehicles in your side blind spots when you’re driving, whatever their approach speed. With a range up to 75 metres, it warns you of hazards with a flashing LED in the mirror on the relevant side. When you manoeuvre in reverse gear, you are alerted to moving obstacles up to 40m away in your rear blind spot.

Day or night, this system detects obstacles such vehicles (driving in the same direction or stopped), pedestrians, cyclists as well as motorbikes in your lane. In case of immediate danger, the driver is alerted by a visual and audible warning; if they still don’t react, the automatic braking then acts.

SIGNPOST RECOGNITION

Enjoy driving in maximum comfort with speed and information signpost recognition technology. This system reads permanent and temporary signposts on the road then reproduces them on your instrument panel warning you instantly of possible speeding. You can also modify the settings of the cruise control/speed limiter to adjust your speed to the speed limit.

ACTIVE UNINTENTIONAL LINE CROSSING ALERT

The "Lane Keeping Assist" system identifies when you cross the white line and automatically keeps you in your lane. You can deactivate this option whenever you want by gripping the steering wheel firmly or through the driving favourites button.
